Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016. Ever since then, the estranged couple has been working towards reaching an amicable settlement that would allow them to legally end their marriage.

Although they managed to reach a custody arrangement in 2018, a report claims Pitt fears Jolie feels guilty about the ongoing divorce and is spoiling the kids to shield them from their parents’ break up.

According to HollywoodLife, Pitt, who shares six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne with Jolie, is concerned their frequent shopping sprees with “Maleficent 2” star will have a negative impact on their future.

“Brad fears Angelina is spoiling the kids. He wishes Angie would stop buying the kids stuff they don’t need. He worries the kids are growing up spoiled and he does not want them to have a sense of entitlement like everything should be handed to them,” an alleged source told the site.

Although their custody arrangements allow the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor to spend time with his kids, the 55-year-old actor is reportedly worried it won’t be enough to change the way Jolie is raising them.

“Brad fears that Angie feels guilty about the divorce and is over-compensating by taking the kids shopping every weekend,” the mystery tipster explained.

“Brad had more control over the kids when he was still married to Angie, but now that they are apart, and she has been spoiling them, he has pleaded with her to slow down on all the spending.”

Jolie reportedly gives “the kids whatever they want,” which conflicts with Pitt’s desire to teach them the value of a dollar. “Brad had to work hard for everything through life and wishes Angie would help instill more down to earth values in the kids instead of making everything so easy.”

Despite the rumors, Pitt has not acknowledged reports suggesting he believes Jolie is spoiling their children.
