Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey are calling it quits after two years of marriage.

The former “Glee” star has filed for divorce from the “Shadows” actor, according to E! News.

In a joint statement, the two shared the news, saying: “After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Our priority is and always be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.”

While the reason for the split was not revealed, Rivera has filed for primary custody of Josey Hollis Dorsey, their 1-year-old son, according to TMZ. Dorsey will have visitation rights.

Rivera and Ryan got married in Mexico in 2014. The wedding came as a surprise to many because their relationship was kept under wraps, and the ceremony was held just three months after Rivera and Big Sean called off their engagement.

In a statement obtained by People, Rivera and Ryan said: “We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife. Our special day was fated and everything we could have asked for.”

The two first started dating in 2010. Rivera revealed in her book “Sorry Not Sorry” that she got pregnant by Ryan at the time but decided to have an abortion.

Speaking of rekindling their relationship, Rivera told Entertainment Tonight: “I have always kept a flame for him. In between boyfriends or whatever, if I was single for a minute, I would always answer his emails and go see him. He was just kind of always the one.”

Rivera and Ryan got hitched on July 19, 2014. The date caused a stir because it was reportedly the day Rivera and Big Sean were supposed to get married. However, Ryan’s father cleared things up, saying the couple picked the date because it was Ryan’s birthday.
