Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been dating for three years but that doesn’t mean the No Doubt singer is trying to pressure her boyfriend into marriage. A new report claims the 49-year-old is confident she and the “I Lived It” singer will eventually become engaged.

The couple first met on “The Voice” and began dating in 2015. That same year Shelton finalized his divorce from Miranda Lambert and Stefani split from then-husband, Gavin Rossdale. Since their relationship began, the two have been pretty much inseparable.

According to HollywoodLife, Stefani and Shelton’s close bond is the reason why the “Hollaback Girl” singer isn’t demanding an engagement ring from her beau.

“One thing Gwen never does though is pressure Blake or even bring it up, unless it’s in a joking way. But if he does finally pop the question on Valentine’s Day, Gwen will be elated,” an alleged source told the site.

The supposed confidant claimed Stefani is “sure [a proposal’s] coming one day, she just has no idea when or where and she does enjoy the guessing and the suspense.”

Although Stefani and Shelton are not engaged yet, a second tipster implied the country crooner is still working on the perfect proposal.

“He has been thinking about the perfect ring, the perfect timing, whether or not he will get on one knee and the perfect wording to ask Gwen to spend the rest of her life with him.”

A source previously told Us Weekly that the couple has been taking their relationship slow for the sake of Stefani’s three sons Kingston, Apollo and Puma, but “are going to be announcing their engagement very soon.”
