There’s still a lot to learn within the world of “Emergence,” but, unfortunately, answers won’t be arriving tonight, as there’s no new episode of the drama airing on ABC.

The network’s hourlong Dolly Parton special, “Dolly Parton: Here She Comes Again!,” will premiere during the 10 p.m. EST time slot instead. It centers on “the life and career of the country music legend, including interviews and performance footage,” according to the synopsis.

Emergence” then returns with new episodes starting next week, on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at its normal time. When it does come back, it’ll be with Season 1, episode 7, titled “Fatal Exception,” which was written by Lindsey Allen and directed by Jessica Lowrey.
