Apparently, Kim Kardashian is not someone you should try and take advantage of. According to CBS News, Kardashian is suing an Alabama doctor named Dr. Charles Runels and the Cellular Medicine Association.

In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday, she claimed that he unjustly used a photo of her to further his business where he performs a medical procedure called a “Vampire Facial.”

In the suit, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is asking a judge to make Runels and other doctors who used her name and photo without her consent to pay her profits. She also wants the judge to make sure that Runels can never use her name and photo ever again.

The photo Kardashian is referring to was a selfie posted in 2013 and shows the star with blood all over her face after just getting a “Vampire Facial." E! recalls that during an episode of the Kardashian spinoff show “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami,” the star showed viewers a glimpse of her getting the procedure done.

Runels spoke to CBS in a telephone interview on Wednesday where he called Kardashian’s lawsuit “disappointing.”

Runels also posted a statement on his website where he said that Kardashian “used the Vampire Facial® and the Vampire Facelift® name to promote her TV show and to promote her online presence. Her selfie, after having one of the procedures, also used the named owned by Dr. Runels.”

“I've already taken all the stuff off my website, but I'm not going to let her call me a thief. First she works to let everyone in the world know she had a Vampire Facial and now she doesn't want anyone to talk about it,” he said during the phone interview.

“We’re trying to do good medicine. The last thing we want to do is spend millions of dollars arguing with a celebrity,” Runels added.
