For months there have been rumors suggesting Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are embroiled in a bitter feud, however, a new report claims Queen Elizabeth plans to step up and create peace between the women.

The ongoing speculation about rifts in the royal family between Meghan, Kate, Prince Harry and Prince William has reportedly pushed the Queen to make sure members of the monarchy remain united in public and behind palace walls.

“The queen is confident that she’ll be able to get Kate and Meghan back on track,” an alleged source told Closer Weekly.

“It’s just not going to happen overnight,” the “insider” added.

Although Kate is married to Prince William and could one day land the title of Queen Consort, Elizabeth isn’t playing favorites when it comes to the feud. “The queen is extremely fair and isn’t taking sides,” the “source” said.

Instead, Queen Elizabeth has reportedly encouraged Kate to reach out to Meghan, who is pregnant with her first child. “She believes that once Meghan gives birth, the two of them will have more in common and will bond over their children.”

Nonetheless, the supposed confident implied Queen Elizabeth has grown tired of the media coverage the rumored feud has received.

“The British newspapers are delivered to the queen every morning — she’s growing tired of reading about Meghan and Kate’s rift and is doing everything in her power to sort it out,” the anonymous tipster claimed.

While the “source” claims Queen Elizabeth realizes Kate and Meghan won’t become best friends, “setting a good example” remains her top priority when it comes to uniting her grandsons’ wives.
