“The Bachelor” is far from over but that hasn’t stopped ABC viewers from discussing who will be the star of the next “The Bachelorette” season.

With the network weeks away from confirming their 2019 lead, fans are speculating the newest “Bachelorette” could be Colton Underwood’s current “Bachelor” finalist Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who -- spoiler alert -- gets eliminated on Monday’s hometown dates episode.

“No announcement has been made. She’s obviously in the running, but I really don’t know what they’re looking for,” known “Bachelor” spoiler blogger Reality Steve, who has already leaked this season’s winner, wrote on Feb. 13.

Originally, the blogger said that Caelynn, a 24-year-old beauty pageant star, could be the ideal next lead for the dating series. While Caelynn has been involved in her fair share of drama this season, she did receive applause for her candidness about being a sexual assault survivor.

“... I really don’t know what they’re looking for. To me, having sexual assault survivor be your ‘Bachelorette’ in the middle of the #MeToo era seems to be exactly the publicity this show is looking for. But it’s their decision, not mine,” he added.

Following the premiere of episode 7, Reality Steve changed his tune regarding Caelynn being a shoo-in for the role.

“...Monday night’s episode did her no favors and now I’d be surprised if she DID get the gig,” the blogger posted Wednesday. His comment stemmed from Caelynn’s on-screen feud with contestant Tayshia Adams over her claim she was overheard saying she wanted to be the next “Bachelorette,” coincidentally enough.

“I just don’t see how she recovers from Monday’s trainwreck where she came across as a mean girl,” he explained. “Yes, she was pissed at Tayshia for what she told Colton, but she handled it about as badly as one could’ve.”

“I wouldn’t call her the front runner anymore. I just don’t see it,” he added.

Reality Steve reports ABC is likely one month out from making their final decision regarding the next “Bachelorette.” Of course, they could always go with Khloe Kardashian.
