“Celebrity Big Brother” just premiered on Wednesday, but there are already some questions regarding the fate of the show.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, host Julie Chen revealed whether or not “Celebrity Big Brother” will be a yearly winter show for CBS.

“I had my reservations, but if it goes the way I think it’s going to go, I don’t think it will be the last one. But it all depends on ratings. If it does well against the Olympics, I see it only happening against the Olympics. It’s like a game of Tetris because you need x amount of nights on the air and CBS really doesn’t have that real estate. Too many shows are working,” she said.

Chen also opened up about some of the houseguests in the first season of “Celebrity Big Brother.” After it was announced that Omarosa Manigault is part of the cast, Chen said that she expected this would cause a stir.

“I did expect it to cause a stir, but only because she has spent the last year in the White House and got fired slash resigned. If she didn’t spend the least year in the White House, we wouldn’t have had this interest,” she said.

Chen also predicted that Shannon Elizabeth will go far in the game since she’s also a media person and thinks like the producers of “Celebrity Big Brother.” And when asked who will cause the most problem in the house, the host said that it could be Metta World Peace since he has no idea what’s going on.

Keshia also became interesting for the producers after she went into court with Bill Cosby. “Keshia walking into court with him suddenly made her that much more interesting. We haven’t heard from her before that. No one cared about her before,” Chen said.

Meanwhile, Chen revealed that they wanted to cast Boy George in Season 1, but things did not work out for him in terms of the show’s schedule. “Celebrity Big Brother” will only be on air for a total of 18 hours until Feb. 25.
