Kate Middleton and Prince William will be attending this year’s BAFTA Awards.

Kensington Palace confirmed the news and said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will have the opportunity to meet with BAFTA representatives, as well as watch the ceremony that will be hosted by Joanna Lumley.

Prince William, who has been the president of BAFTA, will also be presenting the fellowship to British filmmaker Ridley Scott for his contributions to the film industry. Other than attending the BAFTA Awards, the duke and duchess have also been present at BAFTA’s charitable activities, namely, the Young Game Designers and BAFTA Kids events.

Meanwhile, event attendees are encouraged to wear an all-black ensemble to show support for the MeToo and Time’s Up movements. Jane Lush, the chairwoman of BAFTA released a statement regarding their initiative (via Deadline).

“We too are determined that the brave revelations, and make no mistake, they were very brave, become a watershed moment for a real lasting change across the workforce in film, game and television. We are pooling our knowledge and resources for a unified set of principles and guidelines aimed at stamping out pernicious working practices that thrive in outdated power structures,” she said.

Lush also said that BAFTA promotes a professional environment that protects its members from all kinds of abuse and harassment. “It’s not only ‘Me Too,’ but ‘We Too,’” she said.

As of late, it is still unclear what Middleton will be wearing to this year’s BAFTA awards. Last year, the 36-year-old duchess made headlines for wearing a stunning black gown designed by Alexander McQueen. Middleton regularly wears the designer’s creations to various gatherings. In fact, even her wedding dress was designed by McQueen.

Some of the nominees at this year’s BAFTA awards include Margot Robbie, Allison Janney, Saoirse Ronan, France McDormand, Octavia Spencer, Lesley Manville, and more. “Shape of Water” is the film that received the most nominations this year.

The 2018 BAFTA awards will be held on Feb. 18 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
