Pack your bags, it looks like we’re going back to school!

Netflix has officially ordered a third Season of “Greenhouse Academy,” its teen boarding school-set series. The streaming service shared the good news on the show’s social media pages on July 20, but then decided to make the announcement twice as exciting by revealing a week later that there will be a Season 4, as well.

The two-season renewal comes five months after Season 2 was released on Netflix. All 12 episodes of the season debuted on Feb. 14, making it the perfect binge option for Valentine’s Day, especially since the season involved multiple romances.

When the show first showed up on the streaming platform with Season 1 in 2017, it found siblings Hayley (Ariel Mortman) and Alex (Finn Roberts) being accepted into Greenhouse Academy, a boarding school for gifted future leaders. The institution splits its students into two houses, with each one competing against the other in various events. Hayley and Alex were pulled into different houses.

Throughout Seasons 1 and 2, the two bonded over their new school and tried to look out for one another after the apparent death of their astronaut mother, which was said to have occurred prior to the start of the show. The two also dealt with enemies, trying to make new friends within their houses, as well as various love interests.

For those who don’t quite remember how Season 2 ended, here’s a little recap. It turned out that Hayley and Alex’s mother was actually alive the whole time. There was a huge conspiracy revolving around it and a villain involved, but with the help of their fellow students, Daniel (Chris O’Neal), Leo (Dallas Hart) and Brooke (Grace Van Dien), they were able to save their mom. Although that was a happy ending, Season 2 had a major cliffhanger in the romance department.

Hayley and Leo had a complicated relationship because they both liked each other, but it turned out that he had a girlfriend, Aspen (Reina Hardesty), who he hadn’t told her about. When Aspen showed up at the school, Hayley was crushed. Leo and Aspen stayed together for most of the season, while Hayley and Daniel ended up bonding with each other while trying to stop the big bads. At the end of Season 2, Leo broke up with Aspen and both he and Daniel made it known to Hayley that they wanted to be with her.

So, did she choose one? Well, she called someone at the end of the Season 2 finale and told them to come over, but as soon as the person showed up and knocked on her door, it was over. Since then, fans have been wondering who was at the door. Now, they can be rest assured that they’ll be getting the answer to that.

Stars Mortman, O’Neal, Hart and Roberts helped share the news about the Season 3 renewal on social media with various photos and videos involving the number three, which were posted on the “Greenhouse Academy” pages. Other cast members, including Aviv Buchler (Emma), BJ Mitchell (Parker) and Benjamin Papac (Max) also joined in on the fun.

“Greenhouse Academy” is based on the Giora Chamizer-created Israeli TV series, “The Greenhouse,” and has been adapted by Chamizer and Paula Yoo. The original version aired from 2012 to 2016. Now, the Netflix version is gearing up to release Season 3, but a release date is not yet known. IMDb does list 2019 as the year it will come out, but the information on the site is not always correct. Still, 2019 would make sense since Season 1 came out in 2017 and Season 2 came out in 2018. If Season 3 followed suit, then it would be released in 2019.

For now, fans can re-watch, or catch up on, the first two seasons of “Greenhouse Academy” on Netflix.
