The 2020 Golden Globes were filled with plenty of wins, however, there were also a lot of losses on the red carpet. While some celebrities came to slay with bold style choices, others had hideous fashion fails.

Although the holiday season is over, it appears Jennifer Lopez didn’t get the memo. The “Hustlers” actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a Valentino gown that looked like a Christmas gift with premium wrapping.

The actress was nominated for her role as Ramona Vega in the film. However, she lost out to Laura Dern, who also beat fellow nominees Margot Robbie, Kathy Bates and Annette Bening.

Cate Blanchett is another star who made a fashion faux pas on the Golden Globes red carpet. The actress wore a pastel yellow Mary Katrantzou gown that featured a bedazzled bustier and butterfly sleeves.

While the “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” star earned a nomination for her stellar performance, she may want people to forget about this fashion fail.

Salma Hayek looks great in just about anything, but she couldn’t pull off this Gucci gown. Her red carpet attire looked more like a mismatched blue lace top, and a drab maxi skirt.

While Charlize Theron could have had a red carpet win, she lost the opportunity with this bold green Dior gown. The green draped ensemble featured black bodice details and a black train that just missed the mark.

While Theron would have looked stunning if she simply went with an all green draped dress or a black bodice gown, the combination of the two didn’t work together.

Last, but certainly not least to miss the formal Golden Globes dress code was Gwyneth Paltrow, The actress rocked a brown, sheer prairie gown featuring ruffled undergarments that would have worked perfectly if she were headed to Coachella.

However, her attempt to turn the Fendi gown into a red carpet hit, was an absolute fail.
