The long rumored WrestleMania 33 match between Triple H and Seth Rollins looks like it might happen after all. Their recent confrontation on “Monday Night Raw” indicates that the two wrestlers will face off at WWE’s biggest show of 2017.

The match still hasn’t been officially added to the card as Rollins recovers from a knee injury. Rollins challenged Triple H on Royal Rumble weekend, but he tore his MCL shortly afterwards. He got physical with Triple H and took a few bumps Monday, looking like he’ll be ready to go on April 2 in Orlando.

Rollins appeared on “Monday Night Raw” to defend Mick Foley against an attack by Triple H. Walking with a crutch to get to the ring, he tossed it aside, indicating that he’s healthy for a fight. Triple H finished the night on top, however, beating Rollins with his own crutch.

WWE established the feud between Rollins and Triple H in the summer when the 14-time world champion prevented his former protegee from winning the WWE Universal Championship. Rollins has called out Triple H several times since, and even if he doesn’t have an official match at WrestleMania 33, the two superstars should face off in some fashion.

It’s a match that’s been well over a year in the making. Rollins and Triple H were likely to have one of the top matches at WrestleMania 32, but Rollins tore his ACL in November 2015 and missed the pay-per-view. Triple H eventually became WWE Champion and lost the belt to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 32.

After winning tag team matches with The Shield at WrestleMania 29 and WrestleMania 30, Rollins was defeated by Randy Orton at WrestleMania 31 in his first singles match at the PPV. He returned before the end of WrestleMania 31, using his Money in the Bank briefcase to become part of the main event between Reigns and Brock Lesnar, ending the night as WWE Champion.

Rollins hasn’t had a PPV match since he beat Chris Jericho at Roadblock: End of the Line on Dec. 18.
