MMA fighter turned WWE star Cain Velasquez claims he has never liked Brock Lesnar since their UFC title fight.

Velasquez and Lesnar faced each other inside the octagon about nearly a decade now. Despite the promotion showing less desire to book a second fight, their rematch has been anticipated by both WWE and UFC fans.

And just about a week ago, Velasquez got everybody in WWE stunned after appearing on WWE SmackDown on Fox.

Following a successful WWE debut, Velasquez has now become officially part of the company. In fact, in a recent interview with Fighthype.com, Velasquez has revealed his thoughts regarding his UFC and WWE rival Lesnar.

According to Velasquez, he has never liked Lesnar since UFC days. Now that he finally get to see what the Lesnar has been doing in the WWE, it just makes him even more disgusted.

“No man, it’s the same as when we competed at 2010. It’s the same, those same feelings,” Velasquez responeded when asked if he has good realationship with Lesnar.

The 37-year-old MMA star even vowed to be the man to put an end on Lesnar’s “bullying” attitude towards everybody he works with.

“Ive seen him in WWE and I don’t like what he does. He’s a bully. I’m here to make a change. I’m here to stand up to the bully,” Velasquez exclaimed.

Velasquez made a disastrous return from a two-and-a-half-year hiatus early this year. However, his UFC comeback did not live up the hype as he suffered a devastating loss to Francis Ngannou via a 26-second knockout in Phoenix.

Since then, Velasquez turned his eyes on the world of professional wrestling. According to ESPN, Velasquez already parted ways with UFC and signed with the WWE in order to recreate his rivalry with Lesnar in the sports entertainment world.

As eary as now, the former UFC heavyweight king has already hinted at a lasting ties with the WWE.

“This is definitely my focus,” Velasquez said after his appearance on WWE Smackdown last week.

“My family is into it. They love it. They’re super excited. I haven’t seen them excited over something like this in a while. It’s cool,” Velasquez emphasized.

WWE officials have announced Lesnar vs. Velasquez on Friday. The bout will happen at WWE Crown Jewel at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday, October 31. Aside from Velazquez, heavyweight boxing superstar Tyson Fury will also take part in the said event and will face Braun Strowman.
