The WWE recently held that Raw reunion with a lot of familiar faces in attendance. One missing diva was Trish Stratus, undoubtedly someone who has carved his niche in the wrestling ring. But if reports hold true, the 43-year-old could, in fact, be seen back in action, at least for one night when WWE SummerSlam goes down in Toronto on August 11.

Sources told Pro Wrestling Sheet that part of the plans for SummerSlam 2019 is a match involving Stratus against Charlotte Flair. Talks are reportedly underway and the recent loss of Flair at WWE SmackDown further bolsters the possibility of seeing this rare face-off.

For the benefit of those who may have missed the July 23 edition of WWE SmackDown, Flair lost to Ember Moon in the Women's Championship No. 1 contender match after Bayley provided the distraction. Despite the loss, the former WWE Women's champion demanded that she have a match at the WWE pay-per-view and revealed some hints in the process. That included a jab at facing someone better than Moon and that line "greatest female Superstar of all time."

Through her Twitter account, Flair also vowed to be the Queen of all eras, yet again hinting of someone from the past stepping up at some point to make the match official. With about two weeks to go, Stratus could make a sudden appearance in succeeding shows to kick off that storyline. However, there are concerns on how polished the former WWE diva would be seeing she is no longer regularly into wrestling.

The last time Stratus wrestled in a singles match was back in 2011 against Vickie Guerrero. She did team up Lita back in October against Mickie James and Alicia Fox at Evolution and was also part of the 10-woman tag team match the following night on Raw.

Seeing how the match will be held in Toronto, it would not come as a surprise if Stratus comes out with a win. But will there be some sort of distraction happening once again? Bayley could interfere once more, same with Moon to somehow even out the odds since Flair is obviously in tremendous shape. Either way, that match (once announced) should be something WWE fans will love to see so keep a close eye on the coming WWE shows.
