young and the restless
Billy attempts to play the hero for the trapped teens on "The Young and the Restless." CBS

A fire is ripping through the Underground while Reed, Mattie and Charlie are trapped inside, but the three teens could find themselves rescued when someone unexpected comes to the rescue and tries to save them on the Thursday, Nov. 2 episode of "The Young and the Restless."

Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), all went to the Underground on the CBS soap to get Reed's guitar, but while they were in an office hiding out, afraid they'd be caught being there when they're not supposed to be, an unwell Dina (Marla Adams) came in and lit a fire by trying to burn a photo of Brent Davis, Since then, the flames have gotten out of control, and the three teens are trapped inside as the fire rages around them.

Now, the fear is becoming real for their families, as Cane (Daniel Goddard) will be outside the cub, desperate to get in and rescue his two kids, but in a preview clip, he will be restrained and held back by the firemen, who will caution him that going inside would only make things worse.

However, Billy (Jason Thompson) will somehow also be at the scene and will manage to give the firemen the slip and get inside the club after all. In the preview clip, he can be seen inside as the fire continues to burn, trying to get to the trapped and scared teens and save them.

If he is successful at getting them all out though, it may not mean that things will still all end well. While the teens could get out and not be too badly harmed, Billy himself could also become trapped. If he is trapped in the flames now, it would mean that the danger hasn't ended, and has only shifted. And if it becomes too late to rescue him, it could mean that those outside who he was on the outs with—people like Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack (Peter Bergman), could start to regret how they left things with him as a result.

"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
