She has been keeping what happened between her and Nick a secret, but Phyllis will be forced to own up to their steamy night together after she’s confronted about the affair on the Wednesday, August 14 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Summer (Hunter King) has made it her mission to break Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) up in order to seduce him into her own bed on the CBS soap. So far, trying to make moves on Billy hasn’t worked out for her, since he has refused to cross any lines with his girlfriend’s daughter. Summer has taken that as a challenge, however, and with Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) help, figured out that Phyllis had slept with someone else while she and Billy were briefly broken up over his gambling habit. She was desperate to figure out who the other man was, and finally, through the process of elimination and piecing together all of the clues she could find, she realized that is was her father, Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Now, knowing that revealing Phyllis and Nick slept together is not only her ticket to breaking up Phyllis and Billy but also to winning the bet with Kyle that she would seduce Billy before the end of the month, she has decided to make good use of the information. Instead of going to Billy, however, she will instead confront her mother about the affair, bringing up that she knows what happened as they argue over the things that are happening at Jabot.

Phyllis will try to deny what happened, but when Summer insists she has evidence, witnesses, and knows who the other man is, her mother may feel backed into a corner. How things proceed from there could be entirely up to Summer, who will have the upper hand since she knows what’s going on.

However, blowing up Phyllis and Billy’s relationship isn’t the only thing on the table when it comes to potentially outing the truth. Summer would also be knowingly screwing up her father’s plans to marry Sharon (Sharon Case) as well. Of course, if she can’t be persuaded by either of her parents to keep things quiet, then all hell will officially break loose in Genoa City as a result.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
