She has come back to Genoa City for good, much to the chagrin of those who her return effects. Now, as she settles back in, Summer’s true motives for coming back will be revealed on the Wednesday, Jan. 30 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Summer (Hunter King) came back to town from Abu Dhabi and told Kyle (Michael Mealor) she was going to respect the boundaries of his relationship with Lola (Sasha Calle), before taking on a job helping Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at Newman and informing Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) she was moving in with them on the CBS soap. Now, she will make her return known around town, specifically to Fen (Zach Tinker), Lola and Ana (Loren Lott).

Lola will immediately be suspicious of Summer considering their history of doing some battle over Kyle, but Summer may instead set her sights on the newest music star coming out of town instead, as spoilers for the soap tease that “Summer reconnects with Fen.”

While Fen will be ecstatic that Summer is paying attention to him considering his crush on her years ago, that happiness won’t last long. Summer likely isn’t interested in Fen at all since she’s known for playing games with the men in her life—and her real target is likely going to be Kyle. If winning him back is her true goal, then both Fen and Lola could be in for epic amounts of hurt because of her schemes.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays on CBS.
