She left town for a job in Abu Dhabi after wreaking havoc everywhere she went while there. Now, Summer will make a big return to Genoa City that could bring a whole new load of drama on the Tuesday, Jan. 29 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

When Summer (Hunter King) left Genoa City on the CBS soap, she was also leaving a world of destruction behind her. She had not only nearly cost Kyle (Michael Mealor) his relationship with Lola (Sasha Calle), but she had also nearly ripped apart her mother, Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) relationship with Billy (Jason Thompson) before the truth came out about her affair with Nick (Joshua Morrow). After sleeping with Billy and realizing he had only used her out of revenge for what Phyllis did, Summer decided the best thing to do was get a fresh start—and she took the one Victor (Eric Braeden) offered her overseas.

However, spoilers reveal her time away was only temporary, as “Summer returns home.”

Though she won’t be a problem for her mother’s relationship with Billy anymore since that ended, and Summer won’t be competing with her for the man in her life’s attention since Nick is her father, she could still wreak some havoc on the pair. In addition, her new business savvy she has picked up could also make her a threat to the other members of her family who usually jockey for control at Newman.

However, her return is likely going to be a big deal mainly for Kyle. Though he and Lola are in a good place and feeling celebratory over the news she will be opening a restaurant soon, they still have their issues. Lola still feels uncomfortable anytime she thinks he’s being too lavish with his spending, and he is frustrated because she refuses to sleep with him, despite their expressing that they love one another.

With Summer back in town, it could prove to be too much for the pair, and a preview clip for the weeks' episodes (see above) shows Lola actually devastated that Kyle’s one-time love is once again back in town.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
