Hilary Duff has something to say to the people body shaming her on Instagram.

Duff has been the victim of body shaming ever since she posted photos from her vacation in Hawaii with her son, Luca, 5, and a few friends, with some Instagram users bashing her figure in the comments, Entertainment Tonight reported. However, the “Younger” star is not taking negative criticism lying down as she recently responded to her body shamers on behalf of the girls, women and mothers who have also been bashed for the same reason.

In a new Instagram post, Duff embraced her “flaws” and encouraged everyone to be “proud of what we’ve got.” She shared a photo of herself in a black and white checkered one-piece bathing suit and a straw hat, carrying her son. Her back is to the camera, showing off the cellulite on her backside and thighs. “Since websites and magazines love to share ‘celeb flaws’ - well I have them!” she wrote on Instagram.

“My body has given me the greatest gift of my life: Luca, 5 years ago,” Duff wrote in the caption. “I’m turning 30 in September and my body is healthy and gets me where I need to go. Ladies, lets be proud of what we’ve got and stop wasting precious time in the day wishing we were different, better, and unflawed. You guys (you know who you are!) already know how to ruin a good time, and now you are body shamers as well.”

This new post comes after Duff’s house was burglarized while she was vacationing in Canada in July. The “Lizzie McGuire” star has been sharing photos of her vacation, which made her house an easy target for a robbery. The robbers got away with jewelry worth of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

“This is a scary and upsetting situation for anyone to go through, but Hilary is thankful that her family, her staff, her home and her pets are all safe,” Duff’s spokesperson told Us Weekly of the incident. “That said, she has a significant security team in place that will work with the authorities on this incident and handle security measures moving forward.”
