KEY POINTS

  • Jake Paul continues to call out non-boxers to fight him
  • These celebrities have yet to respond to Paul
  • Boxing purists see Paul as a sore thumb in the sport

Internet sensation Jake Paul has yet to name his next opponent, but several names are being suggested.

It appears the 23-year-old is not satisfied with that list and is now trying to start something on social media.

Paul went on a Twitter rampage recently, targeting several big names. However, most of those luminaries are not necessarily linked to boxing or fight sports. Among those are LeBron James, Dez Bryant and Ellen DeGeneres.

In the eyes of pundits, Paul continues to prey on people who have no boxing or fight sports experience. However, there is one person that may come close to that–Rob Gronkowski.

Most know how the NFL player tried to carve his niche in WWE. He made a cameo appearance at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017 and even held the WWE 24/7 Championship for a time.

With boxing personalities calling Paul’s fights as a low blow to the sport of boxing, it will be interesting if any of the said names would respond to his provocations.

Other than those names mentioned, Paul had previously called out mixed martial artists Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis.

Antonio Tarver and Claressa Shields are not too pleased with the efforts of Paul, with both wanting a piece of the YouTuber to see if he has what it takes to be a boxer.
