Zac Posen has announced his engagement to ballet dancer Harrison Ball. The renowned fashion designer took to Instagram Monday to share photos of him and his fiancé and show off their engagement ring.

The carousel of photos includes an image of them kissing in the desert and cuddling while enjoying a boat ride together. Posen also shared a black-and-white photo of Ball on stage.

The last photo in the series shows the engagement band, a silver ring that features a black stripe in the center. "Engaged. 8. 8. 22," Posen captioned the post before tagging Ball.

Ball also took to his own Instagram to share the good news, sharing a snap of him and Posen standing next to two giant arrows outside the Twin Arrows Arizona. "GETTING HITCHED- CUPIDS ARROW(S)," he wrote in the caption.

Posts of the newly-engaged couple were quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from their fans, families and friends, including A-list celebrities Nina Dobrev, Zoey Deutch and Reese Witherspoon, who are all clients of Posen. Christina Hendricks also expressed her well wishes for the couple, writing, "Oh, how wonderful! Congrats!"

"I'm so happy for you! Congratulations Zac!," model Karen Elson also commented on Posen's post.

"Mazel tov!!!!!!," actress Debra Messing wrote.

Posen is known in Hollywood for designing red carpet looks for big celebrities, including Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker and Katie Holmes. He was also the designer behind the custom wedding dresses of Katherine McPhee and Portia de Rossi.

Posen also designed costumes for the New York City Ballet, in which Ball is a principal ballet dancer. It remains unclear when the two started dating, but the pair seemed to have made their romance Instagram official in April 2021, when Posen shared a photo of him with Ball on the platform for the first time.

Before Ball, Posen dated French fashion editor and designer Christopher Niquet. Posen and Niquet started dating in 2008 and lived together in their shared apartment in New York's SoHo neighborhood until they broke up in 2013.
