The legendary Paul McCartney, who was the major attraction of music industry this weekend, became a trending topic on Twitter on Monday.

McCartney closed the 54th Grammy Awards on Feb.12 after performing a song from the band’s “Abbey Road” album along with fellow musicians Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen and Joe Walsh.

According to CBS News, McCartney was so ubiquitous that he even kissed Lady Gaga this weekend, which later became a reason for "Who is Paul McCartney" twitter trend.

On Monday, “Who is Paul McCartney” trended worldwide on social networking site Twitter, sparking anger among his fans and music lovers.

However, Twitter is now occupied with plenty of tweeters who either don’t know McCartney or are just pretending and tweeting jokes.
