Nia Frazier will finally premiere her debut music video on Tuesday’s Season 5 installment of “Dance Moms,” but she won’t be receiving approval from coach Abby Lee Miller. In episode 17, “Showdown in Pittsburgh, Part 1,” Abby will make it quite clear she's upset about the ALDC dancer’s project, title "Star in Your Own Life."

“I’m not bragging, but I am beyond thrilled with Nia’s video,” Nia’s mom Holly says in the promo for episode 17. While the dance mom admits Nia’s video has some members of the ALDC upset, she continues with her plans to host a big premiere party for her daughter. “I want Nia’s video premiere to be as big as possible,” she says.

In the teaser for the episode, everything appears to be going smoothly for the ALDC dancer at her party – the teaser reveals a room full of people chating her name ahead of the video’s release – that is, until Abby shows up. “Nia I’m going to tell you something,” Abby, who has previously slammed the dancer’s jump into the music business, tells a room full of premiere party guests. “That video never needs to come out,” Abby says as she is shown walking out the door.

Nia’s music video won’t be the only source of drama in part one of the midseason finale. After traveling home to Pittsburgh ahead of the ALDC’s big move to Los Angeles, Abby’s team will be forced to go head-to-head with their rivals, Cathy Nesbitt Stein’s Candy Apples. Much to Abby’s dismay, Cathy’s team will be joined by two familiar faces, dance mom Jeanette Cota and her daughter, Ava, who previously starred on Abby’s ensemble team in Season 4.

“Two of Abby's biggest enemies, Cathy and Jeanette, will be at the competition and are confident they can win,” the synopsis reveals.

Will the ALDC be able to win against The Candy Apples? Tune in to part one of the midseason 5 finale Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime to find out!
