After less than a two-month hiatus, Lifetime’s hit reality-TV series “Dance Moms” is already being primed to return to airwaves. The network has confirmed that the dance competition program will premiere its fifth season Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. The show will continue to air during its traditional time slot of 9 p.m. EST.

While there is no trailer for Season 5 just yet, Lifetime did release the next installment’s first official still Wednesday. The photo features the show's star, coach Abby Lee Miller, sporting white sunglasses with a child dancer, who appears to be her go-to favorite, Maddie Ziegler, 12, reflected dancing in her shades.

Following in line with Abby's announcement in September that the new installment would take place in Los Angeles, California, the show’s official tagline for Season 5, “Abby’s Going Hollywood,” confirms the series will be set primarily on the West Coast.

In the Season 4 finale episode “Hollywood Here We Come, Part 1,” Abby, 48, revealed her decision to start a second studio in Los Angeles. While her facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Abby Lee Dance Company, still stands, ALDC LA appears to be her main focus this season.

“Abby Lee Miller and the nation’s favorite tween dancers take on Hollywood in this all-new season of Dance Moms,” reads the network’s synopsis. “New auditions, new competitions and new dance studios raise the stakes higher than ever before.”

While its unknown if original “Dance Moms” stars Chloe Lukasiak, 13, and her mom, Christi, will return for the show's new installment, the other girls and their moms, Maddie, 12, Nia Frazier, 13, Kendall Vertes, 12, and Mackenzie Ziegler, 10, are all set to reprise their roles.

A couple of new faces will also be joining the cast this year. Former Season 3 “Dance Moms” star and “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” contestant, Kalani Hilliker, 14, has rejoined Abby’s elite team. In November, IBTimes spotted that another Season 2 “AUDC” competitor, JoJo Siwa, 11, had also joined the cast.
