With 2017 coming to a close, movie buffs are looking forward to 2018. Although there are tons of movies set to be released in the new year, a few films have garnered more fan attention compared to others.

“Maze Runner: The Death Cure” - Jan. 26

The trilogy will all come to an end when Thomas and several escaped Gladers break into the Last City. Although the group will face the most dangerous maze of all, those who survive will receive the answers that they have been waiting for regarding the mystery behind the maze.

“Fifty Shades Freed” - Feb. 9

In the final installment of the “Fifty Shades” trilogy, Ana and Christian finally settle into a comfortable life as husband and wife, but when enemies from the past come banging at their door, the couple’s relationship will be put to the ultimate test.

“Black Panther” - Feb. 16

Following his return home to Wakanda, the arrival of two villains will force the Black Panther to team up with some new allies in order to save his nation and prevent a world war.

“Avengers: Infinity War” - May 4

After their falling out in “Captain America: Civil War,” Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers must come together to fight Thanos, who wants the all-powerful Infinity Stones.

“Ocean’s 8” - June 8

Danny Ocean’s sister is following in his criminal footsteps and attempting to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s annual Met Gala.

“Incredibles 2” - June 15

In this sequel, the Parr family is back once again, attempting to save the world while trying to live normal lives. However, leading a regular life will quickly become impossible when a new villain arises and tries to carry out his evil scheme.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” - June 22

Four years after the Jurassic World theme park closed down, Claire and Owen return to the island of Isla Nublar for a rescue mission to save the dinosaurs before the volcano erupts. However, when they discover new breeds of dinosaurs roaming around, their plan to save the species gets complicated.

“Ant-Man And The Wasp” - July 6

While trying to figure out life as a dad and Ant-Man, the superhero must team up with the Wasp in a new mission that offers the chance to uncover secrets from the past.

“Mission: Impossible 6” - July 27

Not much is know about the sixth installment in the “Mission: Impossible” film series, but Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris are all set to reprise their original roles.

“X-Men: Dark Phoenix”- Nov. 2

When Professor X encourages the X-Men to take on more missions as superheroes, the mutants will quickly face their biggest obstacle yet after an evil force threatens to take over Jean Grey’s mind.

“Aquaman” - Dec. 21

Aquaman, the half-Atlantean, half-human ruler of Atlantis, finds himself torn between those who live on land and his fellow Atlanteans, who are ready to revolt against them.

“Bumblebee: The Movie” - Dec. 21

In this “Transformers” spinoff, a teenage girl named Charlie will stumble across a yellow Volkswagen in a junkyard. However, when Charlie revives the car, she learns that it is actually an Autobot, and her life living in a small beach town will never be the same.
