Actor Tom Cruise appears in video footage reportedly showing a mid-jump accident on the set of “Mission: Impossible 6.”

Video has emerged of Cruise, 55, leaping from scaffolding onto a nearby rooftop as a tracking camera follows overhead. However, the actor appears to fall short of the roof and instead clips his legs on the side of the building. Seconds later, Cruise can be seen getting up slowly and clutching his leg by the production crew. Cruise is wearing a harness, although he also briefly clung to the side of the building before pulling himself up during his own stunt.

Cruise is filming on the set of “Mission: Impossible 6” in London, where the incident left him visibly hurt before collapsing next to crew members. Cruise is reprising his role as the series’ protagonist, Ethan Hunt.

This isn’t the first behind-the-scenes film clip that has emerged of Cruise. In April, he was seen being filmed on a Paris rooftop and performing stunts that involved helicopters and his commandeering of a motorcycle.

A stunt he performed for the fifth franchise installment, “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” saw him clinging to the side of an A400 plane as it was mid-flight. A stunt he told People in 2015 was quite “intense.”
