“Bachelor” fans — stop what you’re doing and follow series creator Mike Fleiss on Twitter. The executive producer and show mastermind could potentially be announcing the 2017 star of “The Bachelor” as early as today!”

“The Bachelorette” ended on August 1 with star JoJo Fletcher accepting a proposal from Jordan Rodgers. The two have since started their happily-ever-after, leaving ABC viewers to watch former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants get a second (or third) shot at love on “Bachelor in Paradise.” Generally, the show uses the finale of “Bachelor in Paradise” to announce the next lead in “The Bachelor” franchise. However, a cryptic tweet from Fleiss on Thursday has fans wondering if the announcement will be made today.

Fleiss’ Twitter followers immediately responded to his post, asking if his message means that he’ll be revealing the 2017 star today or in the near future. He has yet to respond. However, it’s possible that the casting news could be coming today if the show is fearful that the mystery man’s name will be leaked.

While Fleiss has kept quiet on Twitter during past seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” he was actually pretty vocal on social media while filming JoJo’s journey. He shared photos and behind-the-scenes updates on how the 25-year-old brunette beauty was doing. One theory is that Twitter has made it easier for fans to get their hands on photos and other casting details.

There are already rumors circulating as to who will be the 2017 star. JoJo and Jordan told the International Business Times during a press call that they think Luke Pell or Chase McNary will make excellent “Bachelor” leads.
