It appears nothing can stop Jill Duggar, not even her nine-month baby bump! The “19 Kids and Counting” star is almost one week past her original due date, but she seemed to make it her goal to keep her mind off her impending child’s arrival this weekend by volunteering and celebrating her anniversary with husband Derick Dillard.

Saturday, Jill, 23, posted a photograph on Instagram of herself and Derick, 25, working at the Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas. The center is owned by the Cross Church, where Jill and Derick tied the knot in front of TLC cameras in June. And it appears being near their wedding location prompted the couple to celebrate another big event.

The following day, Jill shared an engagement photo in observance of the one-year anniversary of the couple’s engagement. “One year ago today, the sweetest man in the whole world asked me to marry him! I said, ‘Yes, totally!’ ... now, 9 months into marriage we await the arrival of our little #babydilly,” Jill wrote.

Derick also got into the spirit, posting a different photo. “One year ago today, she said yes!” he wrote on Instagram Sunday. “Happy engagement anniversary to my beautiful bride @jillmdillard I love you Jill Michelle!” The TLC reality-television star tagged the post, “#newlyweds.”

Before their celebration, Derick made it known he was hoping his son would arrive over the weekend in honor of their anniversary. If he had asked his wife, however, he may have learned there was a strong possibility that it wouldn’t happen. Despite originally announcing a March 24 due date, Jill recently told People magazine she believes her baby boy may not arrive until April 5.

“First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so don’t get discouraged,” Jill said is the advice she has been given lately. “The baby will come when the baby comes.”

Despite being excited to meet her son, Jill said his tardiness is “not [a] big deal” and that she has long been planning for his potentially late debut all along. “Planning on the baby coming late ... if you have that in your head that way, you won’t get discouraged,” she said.

When Baby Dilly does finally arrive, it most likely won’t be at a hospital. In February, Jill and Derick told People magazine she is planning a home birth. While Jill works as a midwife, her sister and fellow midwifery expert, Jana Duggar, 25, will be on hand to help her deliver. “We’re getting the birth pool, things like that. We have a bassinet and a crib,” Derick told the magazine.

Jill and Derick announced they were expecting in August. Their pregnancy revelation was featured on the Season 9 premiere of “19 Kids and Counting” last month. New episodes of the TLC reality-TV series are shown Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT.
