It was a night of celebration for some of the brightest stars in Hollywood as they attended the 2018 Emmy Awards. The night dedicated to honoring the accomplishments of those on the small screen took place on Monday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Before the stars headed into the ceremony, they didn’t step on to a red carpet, instead making their epic fashion statements by strutting down a gold aisle.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? Jessica Biel was a picture of fashion perfection in a white strapless Ralph & Russo gown featuring scallop-shaped fabric. The actress, who was nominated for lead actress in a limited series/TV movie for her role in “The Sinner,” was accompanied by her Grammy Award-winning husband, Justin Timberlake.

Although Biel didn’t walk away with an award, she praised the impact the show has had on her life. “It’s like my baby,” she told People of the USA series, which she also executively produces.

“It was one of the first things I was ever able to develop. I was able to have a say and I was listened to. I had an opinion and people cared. It was a transformative experience.”

Issa Rae

Another leading actress who turned heads on the gold carpet was HBO star, Issa Rae. The 33-year-old was nominated for lead actress in a comedy series for her role on “Insecure.” Rae wore a pale blue Vera Wing jumpsuit featuring a long train.

The custom piece reportedly took 100 hours to make. “There are 3,000 crystals on my dress right now. I was like, are you serious right now?!” Rae told E! News.

Michelle Dockery

Michelle Dockery twirled down the gold carpet in a gorgeous baby blue Carolina Herrera dress. The layered tulle gown featured a centerpiece of embroidered orange flowers. The actress was nominated for lead actress in a limited series/TV movie for her role in “Godless.”
