Four people were found fatally shot at an Oklahoma marijuana farm Sunday night after police responded to a report about a hostage incident. One injured person was also found at the scene.

Deputies from the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported hostage situation at the farm located at EW 600 and NS 2760, just north of Lacey. Upon reaching the 10-acre farm, police found four bodies and a gravely injured person, KFOR-TV reported.

"Last night, the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office responded to this location on a hostage situation when they arrived at the situation, it turned deadly," Captain Stan Florence of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) told the outlet.

The injured individual was rushed to a hospital.

The Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office has enlisted the help of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to help with the investigation of the quadruple homicide, according to the New York Post.

A warrant was issued Monday for the arrest of the suspect who was behind the murders, Kingfisher County Sheriff Dennis Banther told the Kingfisher Times & Free Press.

Banther said he was certain that the suspect, reportedly an Asian male, wasn't somewhere in or around Lacey. However, police have not yet publicly identified him.

Banther also told the outlet that police believe the suspect and the victims all had connections with the marijuana farm and that the gun violence was a result of a longstanding internal dispute and not a random shooting.

"We immediately called in the OSBI for assistance with interviews and to work the crime scene because it's such a large area," he said, as per the outlet. Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Hennessey Fire Department were also among the other agencies that were present at the scene.

Investigators searched for the suspect through the night with the help of a helicopter and huge drones. They even conducted a door-to-door search in the area but had no luck, KFOR-TV reported.

The suspect remained at large as of Monday afternoon. Banther said a manhunt was already on for him. "We've begun the process of figuring out where he may have gone to," he told Kingfisher Times & Free Press.
