5 Biggest Royal Family Feuds Including Queen, Prince Charles' Disagreement Over Camilla

The British royal family has had its share of misunderstandingsand disagreements just like any other household.

The members of the Firm have been involved in several feuds either with each other or individuals outside the family but related to one of their in-laws. Here are the five biggest feuds involving the royals.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles

The Queen was not supportive of the Prince of Wales' affair with Camilla. In fact, there was a time when the monarch didn't want to meet Camilla or talk about her. According to Tom Bower's book "Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles," Her Majesty "actively disapproved" of Prince Charles and Camilla's relationship.

At one point, the monarch had apparently drunk several martinis and reportedly vented her anger to her son. "I want nothing to do with her," the Queen told Prince Charles about Camilla.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Philip

The Duke of Edinburgh has reportedly not forgiven Prince Andrew's ex-wife even two decades after her toegate scandal. The two are apparently still avoiding each other. Many are concerned that their rift might cause family friction at Princess Eugenie's royal wedding in October.

The Queen and Kate Middleton's brother James

According to reports, James upset the Queen with one of his interviews. He reportedly confessed that it's "frustrating" to be Middleton's brother as his works are often overshadowed by the Duchess of Cambridge's royal status. The Queen apparently doesn't want anyone in the family or close to them to comment on the royal family in their interviews.

Princesses Beatrice And Eugenie Versus Markle And Middleton

Prince Andrew and Ferguson's daughters are reportedly snobbish towards Markle. Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice apparently couldn't believe how accepting the Queen was when it comes to Prince William and Prince Harry's wives.

"This is nothing new, but now they're taking their frustrations out on Meghan. They didn't like Kate because they saw her as common, but that's nothing compared to how horrified they are at Harry marrying an American actress!" an insider said.

Royal Family Versus Markle's Father

One of the biggest feuds involving the royal family is their current fight against Markle's father. The former lightning director has been complaining that they cut his ties with his daughter. Thomas Markle Sr. missed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding and has been doing paid interviews, which frustrated the royals. Unfortunately, despite his efforts to have them reach out to him, the royals have kept their silence when it comes to him and his complaints.
