Many look up to the members of the royal family especially to Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle when it comes to fashion. However, just like everyone else, they also have their fashion faux pas moments.

Here are the different moments when involving the Duchess of Cambridge, Duchess of Sussex and more, according to OK! Magazine.

Kate's shoes stuck in a drain

In 2013, Middleton joined Prince William at the Irish Guards St Patrick's Day Parade. The duchess looked great in her emerald dress. However, her choice of footwear seemed to be a poor choice. Middleton was photographed struggling to get her stiletto out of the hole. The same scene happened again when Middleton's heels was caught in a grate when she visited a new addiction treatment center in February.

Meghan's wrong choice of hats

In December, the former "Suits" actress joined the royal in their morning Christmas service. However, the public gave her hat thumbs down and likened it to a chocolate and rude emoji. One even considered it the "ugliest hat" she has ever seen.

Markle found herself in the same situation when she joined Prince Harry, Prince William and Middleton at the Commonwealth Day Service. Markle showed up with a white beret that still didn't impress the royal fans. In fact, a number compared it to a melted marshmallow.

Meghan's handbag in Ireland

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Ireland in July. The new royal stepped out from the plane and looked sophisticated in her green Givenchy pencil skirt. She carried a Strathberry handbag but overlooked the plastic packaging on its protective studs.

Meghan's messy hair

The new duchess started the messy bun hairstyle in the Firm. While others love it, a number don't find it to be fitting for royals. So, when Markle visited Cheshire with the Queen, she didn't tie her hair that way but was still criticized after being photographed with her hair on her face due to high winds. A number find Markle's hair distracting and annoying. The netizens urged Markle to tie her hair up.

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice eccentric outfit on Prince William and Kate's wedding

According to Daily Mail, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughters top the fashion flops in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's royal wedding in 2011. According to bridal stylist Camilla Ridley-Day the two princesses "were trying too hard to look 'fashiony,'" but it didn't work.
