Meghan Markle made a fashion faux pas in Ireland.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Dublin on Tuesday. Markle stepped out from the plane in a green Givenchy pencil skirt while carrying a Strathberry handbag. While the new royal's outfit looked perfect, she made a fashion blunder by overlooking one thing.

According to Isabella Sullivan, a journalist for Express, eagle-eyed fans noticed the plastic packaging on Markle's handbag's protective studs. It was believed that in her haste, the duchess forgot to remove the plastic covering.

Markle reportedly owns at least two colors of the bag: tan and a combination of burgundy, navy and vanilla. The tan tote bag has been sold out already just hours after Markle was spotted using it.

On the same day, Markle wore two other dresses. When she stepped out in the morning for the Royal Air Force centenary celebration, she stepped out in her Audrey-Hepburn-inspired look. For the event, she opted for a little black Dior dress with a boatneck. She paired it with a fascinator from Stephen Jones.

When she later attended a garden party hosted by the British Ambassador to Ireland in the evening, the former "Suits" actress stunned in her black sleeveless cocktail dress designed by Emilia Wickstead. Markle paired it with black stiletto heels. She was photographed carrying a clutch bag.

Wickstead threw shade at the duchess over her royal wedding dress. The designer initially claimed that Markle's bridal gown was similar to one of her designs. She also criticized its fitting.

"Her dress is identical to one of our dresses. Apparently, a lot of commentators were saying, 'It's an Emilia Wickstead dress," Wickstead reportedly posted on Twitter.

The designer also criticized the gown's fitting. "If you choose a simple design the fit should be perfect. Her wedding dress was quite loose," Wickstead added.

Following her ranting on social media, Twitter deactivated her account. Wickstead then took to Instagram and issued a statement withdrawing all of her previous claims.

"I am extremely saddened by commentary that has appeared in the press and on-line over the past few days," she wrote. "Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Sussex looked absolutely beautiful on her wedding day and I have the utmost admirable and respect for her."

"I do not think that her wedding dress was a copy of any of our designs. I have the greatest respect for Clare Waight Keller and the House of Givenchy - a huge source of inspiration to me," she added.
