David Toborowsky got candid about his weight loss journey.

The "90 Day Fiancé" star spoke with Us Weekly about how he dropped ten pant sizes since starting his weight loss journey. The 53-year-old Kentucky native said he made it by changing his routine and diet with the help of his wife, Annie Suwan.

"It’s a slow progress," he told the outlet Tuesday. "I didn’t gain it quickly and I’m not gonna lose it quickly."

Toborowsky changed his diet by eating more salads and low-carb meals. He also started drinking lots of water. He admitted that he still indulges in his favorite meal and doesn't starve himself.

For instance, if he wants to have a sandwich for breakfast, he will have one. However, he will make it with turkey bacon and low-fat cheese.

"I’m not perfect with it," he added. "Because if you go to a Mexican restaurant, you can’t just not eat a chip."

Toborowsky doesn't have a specific target weight in mind. He wants to keep going until he feels comfortable in his skin. His wife, who dropped six sizes in the past year, is not afraid to engage in a little tough love to help him lose weight.

"I want to make sure he’s asleep before me, because I will look at the refrigerator if he tries to open [it] after dinner," she jokingly said. "Close the refrigerator and go back to bed with an empty stomach!"

Toborowsky and Suwan appeared on the fifth season of "90 Day Fiancé." The college professor proposed to her just ten days after they first met, and they tied the knot in November 2017.

The couple settled in Scottsdale, Arizona, after they tied the knot. They also traveled to Thailand to bring her cousin and brother back to the U.S. They documented their trip on their new show "David & Annie: After the 90 Days," which will start airing Monday on TLC.

"I wanted to show people that you can hit rock bottom [and] come back," Toborowsky said on why they decided to film the special. "I think the importance of showing this journey is that I might be 53 years old, but life continues on and I want to make the most of it. Annie has given me the best years of her life, and I want to make sure that we can enrich all of our families."

"David & Annie: After the 90 Days" premieres Monday at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
