Alex Rodriguez has nothing but well-wishes for his ex-fiancée, Jennifer Lopez, who is now married to Ben Affleck.

On Friday's episode of "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?" the former MLB star was asked about the "Let's Get Loud" singer's decision to get back together with the Oscar winner shortly after she and Rodriguez called off their engagement.

Rodriguez, 47, and Lopez announced the end of their engagement in April 2021, not long after they reconciled following a brief split in March that year. A month after the breakup, the singer-actress and Affleck officially rekindled their romance.

But the businessman proved that there's no bad blood between him and Lopez as he shared his support for her after her wedding to Affleck.

"With Jennifer, look, it was a good experience," Rodriguez said of his ex Friday, according to Page Six. "I wish her and the children, who are smart, and beautiful and wonderful — I wish them the very best."

During their four-year relationship, Lopez and Rodriguez blended their families together. She shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez has two daughters, Natasha, 17, and Ella, 14, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.

"I would say I'm glad I'm not going to ever be a presidential candidate because you would hammer me," the former athlete jokingly concluded in his recent interview.

Rodriguez and Lopez started dating in 2017. In 2019, they got engaged and were set to tie the knot in Italy in 2020. However, they pushed back their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic and eventually called off their engagement in 2021.

Lopez quickly moved on with Affleck, to whom she got engaged for the second time in April, a year after they rekindled their romance. They first tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas on July 16 before holding a more lavish wedding at Affleck's estate in Georgia in August.

Shortly after Lopez and Affleck's surprise wedding in Las Vegas in July, an unnamed insider told Us Weekly that Rodriguez was happy for his ex and that there were no hard feelings at all.

"He's happy for her and happy that she's with the person she's meant to be with," the source said. "He's in a new relationship now and is happy as well. He's traveling all over and living his best life. He's really focused on family, his career and what he's got going on."

While Lopez has found her life partner, Rodriguez is single at present following his recent from Kathryne Padgett. The former Yankees slugger and the Texas-based fitness competitor had been together for a few months before they called it quits in September.

"They're good friends – they're just each single. They broke up, but they're super tight. It's all good," an anonymous source told Page Six of Rodriguez and Padgett.
