George and Amal Clooney are certainly one of the most followed couples in Tinseltown today. As they await for the arrival of their twins, showbiz onlookers can’t help but speculate about the couple’s parenting potential, especially Amal’s take on motherhood.

Amal is known for being a woman who is not afraid to express her thoughts and be heard. Considered one of the most famous human rights lawyers in the world, the 39-year-old British-Lebanese barrister has spoken about women and refugees around the world, but when it comes to motherhood, she has been fairly private.

Even though Amal has not spoken about children much, Romper noted her parenting views gave a glimpse of what kind of parent or a mom George’s wife will be. During her speech at the Texas Conference for Women in November, Amal revealed that her mom was her role model growing up. She admired her mother’s femininity and independence, as well as her ability to balance work and family.

“I think growing up my mother was definitely a role model, she was always a working woman and someone who is independent and cared about her career and cared about being independent, but also had balance,” Amal said during the conference, as People quoted. “She never lost her femininity and she believed the balance was important and that is something that stuck with me.”

Due to her principles when it comes to women’s rights, Romper highlighted Amal could also be a “force” for raising strong women, and if she’ll have sons, she will undoubtedly be a feminist mom. But aside from empowerment, Amal might also teach her kids to strive hard for their passions and would advise them that giving up will never be an option.

During her time at the Colombia School of Law, Amal also hinted at her views on parenting. As per Guide Live, Amal advised her students to be “true” to themselves and ditch the 10-year plan rule. “Be true to yourself and do it your way,” Amal said. “It’s better to see where the work takes you.”

Meanwhile, after the highly anticipated confirmation that the Clooneys are indeed having twins, some celebrities shared some unsolicited advice to first time mom-to-be Amal. One of those celebrities was actor and father-of-four Denzel Washington, who is also a father of twins and who told Amal to get enough sleep.

“Sleep now!” Washington told Entertainment Tonight. "Because you won't be sleeping then! SLEEP NOW! I'm not talking to George, I'm talking to his wife. Sleep now!”

Cindy Crawford, on the other hand, said she would “never volunteer advice” unless they will ask her. Just Jared reported Crawford’s only advice is to enjoy parenthood. “My mother’s best advice to us was don’t give advice unless someone asks for it,” Crawford said, via Harper’s Bazaar. “I would never volunteer advice. If someone asks me I would tell them, but I’m not the person just like, ‘Oh here’s what you should do.’ I guess my only advice would be to enjoy it. Because, as you know, because you have a little one, it goes like that.”
