Amanda Kloots is not staying silent amid criticism over her dating life following the death of her late husband, Nick Cordero.

On Friday, the fitness instructor and "The Talk" co-host confirmed on the CBS show that she has started "dating again," a year after her second husband and father of their now 2-year-old son Elvis died of COVID-19 complications.

"Both of my husbands, I met doing Broadway shows. We became friends first and then got married. Obviously, with Nick we had a child," Kloots was quoted as saying on the talk show by E! News. "I've never actually had to date and I just started dating again and it is so crazy to be dating for the first time at 39 years old. And it's quite terrifying and really out of your element and it's hard. It is hard."

"It's all wonderful," she continued. "It's wonderful people I'm meeting and it's been a great process so far. But I would say it's very hard, without getting into too many details, it's very hard."

Following the announcement, one social media user criticized Kloots on a post on Instagram that was not related to her dating her life.

"Dating already wow that was fast," they commented on the post.

Kloots shared a screenshot of the comment on her Instagram Story, slamming the netizen and promising fans that she will explain her decision to get back into the dating scene.

"How dare you judge anyone especially someone going through this process," she wrote in a screenshot obtained by People.

Kloots added, "I will address this soon guys, I promise. There's too much to say and too much that widows deal with to not talk about it. Until then I will call out anyone who is rude enough to comment like this."

Many followers came to Kloots' defense in the comments section of her post, saying that the dance instructor should be free to live her life on her own terms.

"your life must not be a happy one that you have to judge @amandakloots. Get a life and leave her alone. She can do what she wants when she wants," one follower commented. "If she were a man would you be so quick to judge? it’s hilarious trolls like you never have a profile picture."

"how dare you judge. Everyone’s journey is their own and there is no handbook on time. Why don’t you crawl under a rock and think about how cruel and hurtful your words are. What’s wrong in your life that you have to be cruel to a kind, lovely, single mom grieving ?" another wrote.

"absolutely NONE of your business whatsoever what Amanda decides to do with her own life. Nor is it any of ours. She has no obligation to live for anyone but herself and her son. Nick would have wanted her to live her life, have you not been paying attention? Go away, troll," a third user responded.

Cordero died at the age of 41 on July 5, 2020, due to COVID-19 complications after months of hospitalization.

Kloots has always remembered the Broadway actor on special occasions, including Christmas, New Year, Mother's Day and Father's Day. Last month, she posted a Father's Day tribute for him and shared on Instagram his last photo with their son Elvis on her phone.
