  • Amber Heard was spotted taking notes during the closing arguments Friday
  • A video of Heard writing with her pen not touching the paper is circulating on Twitter
  • Several netizens accused Heard of "fake writing" after seeing the viral video

Amber Heard was accused of faking another gesture while waiting for the jury's verdict.

On Friday, Johnny Depp and Heard's lawyers delivered their closing arguments for the defamation trial against the actress. Many noticed that the "Aquaman" star was writing something. However, a video uploaded to social media zooming in on Heard's hand revealed that her pen didn't even touch the paper, so many accused her of "fake writing."

"I just saw a TikTok that showed Amber Heard FAKE WRITING during the trial. Like the pen does not touch the paper. What the f--k hahah #JohnnyDeppvAmberHeard," one tweeted.

"This is why I think Amber is a gaslighting liar, she is fake writing during closing arguments for show for the jury. Even one of her lawyers grimaced looking at her empty notepad," another wrote. "I hate liars and gaslighters, that is why I think Amber is full of [s--t emoji]."

"BRO, This Can't Be Real. Why is amber Fake Writing On Paper LOL," a third user added.

"#JusticeForJohnnyDepp Omg, Amber is fake writing, and even one of her attorney's thinks she's nuts, watch him shake his head, lmao," a fourth person opined.

Heard was also accused of fake crying during her testimony because she looked like she was crying, but there were no tears. Over the weekend, some critics alleged that she bought fans after receiving flowers from supporters outside the court of Virginia. It was the first time her car stopped, and there was a camera, so everything appeared staged, prompting YouTuber Joseph Morris to speculate that it was another PR stunt.

Despite the backlash against Heard, many still supported her. For them, the "Aquaman 2" actress was a victim of domestic abuse even though Depp previously denied all allegations that he hit his ex-wife.

"#IStandWithAmberHeard Amber was doing well for herself before she ran into JD. It was clear when she was on the stand and said all she wants is for Johnny to leave her alone. He even shook his head like he finally got it. Hello! He's bullied her for way too long!" one tweeted.

"I have this episode in full and the fat lip is all you can stare at. Then you see her jump the second James gets close," another added. "Victims of domestic violence find ways to keep going about their daily lives without others noticing what is actually happening to them. #IStandWithAmberHeard."

"Amber, you deserve this so much! We are with you til the end! #IStandWithAmberHeard," a third user wrote.

"If you can't say #IStandWithAmberHeard, you can't say you'd stand for any other victim or survivor of rape or domestic abuse because they very likely won't have the texts she does, or the audio she does, or the video, or the witnesses, or the medical records," a fourth user added.

The jury is expected to resume their deliberation Tuesday.
