"Among Us" is an online social deduction multiplayer game created by InnerSloth. Like other games, it has several fan-made custom mods that let players take their gaming experience to a whole new level. One of them is called the Trapper Impostor and for those wondering how this is played, this guide might come in handy.

Popular content creator SSundee shared on his official YouTube channel how the "Among Us" Trapper mod is played. Impostors still need to kill all the crewmates before they finish their tasks. However, in this custom mod, impostors are given the ability to set different kinds of traps.

These include the bear trap, the teleporter, the C4 bomb and the electric trap. These traps make the impostors more powerful. Unfortunately for crewmates, they won't be able to see where these traps are laid, making it more challenging for crewmates to win the game.

Interestingly, only traps where C4 bombs are used could kill the crewmates. When activated, each trap makes a sound. It is only then that players could know that there is a trap somewhere in their location.

Impostors can win the game by killing in groups. For instance, impostors can set a bear trap and a bomb together at a certain location where crewmates perform common tasks. Impostors could act as if they are doing tasks and get out of the room right before the bomb goes off. This way, crewmates will have no idea who's behind it.

In another "Among Us" news, InnerSloth announced at The Game Awards 2020 that it will release a new map called Airship this year. The gaming studio has not yet revealed the specific release date of the update but shared several contents that fans could look forward to. On Twitter, InnerSloth teased about a new kind of betrayal that players will encounter.

The tweet comes with a brief video showing the player getting on a moving platform, which moves from one side to another. It moves at a very slow pace, which could be frustrating if the impostor is chasing the crewmate. While waiting for the new Airship map, players can amp up their "Among Us" gaming experience by playing different kinds of mods and mini-games available for the game.
