Android Nougat updates for Samsung devices are continuing in several different markets. Currently, the Galaxy S7 for the Canadian carriers Rogers and Telus are sending the latest Google software to its devices. Galaxy S6 Edge+ handsets in Turkey are also updating to Nougat as of Tuesday.

The software should be hitting devices wirelessly but users can check for the update by accessing Settings > Software Update > Download update manually. Android software updates require a fully charged and set and a Wi-Fi- connection for installation.

The Rogers and Telus Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge handsets are respectively receiving the G930W8VLU2BQB6 and G935W8VLU2BQB6 versions of Android 7.0 Nougat, which will update the devices from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. These networks are rolling Nougat after several Canadian carriers, including SaskTel, Bell, Virgin Mobile, EastLink, Wind Mobile and Freedom Mobile sent the update to their Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 handsets last week.

The Galaxy S6 Edge+ in Turkey is receiving the 928CXXU3CQC7 version software, which will take it from Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to Android 7.0 Nougat. Currently, Galaxy S6 handsets remain in the early phases of the Nougat rollout.

In addition to Android Nougat features, the update will also include Google’s February security patch. Carriers may also have their own specific system tweaks to add to the update.

Among other Samsung devices now updating to Android 7.0 are the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 Active and Galaxy A5 (2016).
