Angelina Jolie is moving on with her life. The actress was recently spotted in public for the first time since filing for divorce from husband Brad Pitt in September.

In the photos obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Jolie wore a long, tan robe and was barefoot as she toured a new rental property in Malibu, Calif. The 41-year-old actress was accompanied by her older brother, James Haven, and five of her kids — Shiloh, 10, Zahara, 11, Pax, 12, and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Her oldest son Maddox, 15, was not present during the outing.

A witness told the outlet that Jolie’s children and Haven were spotted playing at the beach before they headed to the rental property, where they spent over an hour looking around. Accompanying Jolie’s family are the children’s nannies and a team of guards.

According to the source, Jolie appeared to be “very happy and relaxed” as she strolled around the property barefoot after spending some time on the beach. The kids, which Jolie shares with Pitt, also seemed to be having a good time during the outing amid their parents’ split. “The kids were running around and they seemed happy and to be doing well. Zahara ran out to the beach by the water. The kids were playing on the beach,” said the witness. Check out the photos of Jolie and their family outing here.

Meanwhile, the “Allied” actor has yet to be spotted in public since news of their divorce broke. However, People reported earlier this month that Pitt has already reunited with his children since the split. “Brad has spent some wonderful time with children recently,” a source close to the family told the outlet on Oct. 6.

But although Pitt has spent time with his children, it’s unlikely that the 52-year-old actor has seen his estranged wife in person. Any communication between them would need to go through their respective lawyers, according to ET Online. This is in line with the current safety plan implemented by the Department of Children and Family Services following the child abuse allegations made against Pitt.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on Sept. 19. The two tied the knot in 2014.
