Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce has come to an impasse.

It’s been almost three years since the “Maleficent” actress filed for divorce. However, until today the exes are still working on finalizing it.

According to Mirror, the delay could be due to their shared $631 properties. Pitt and Jolie couldn’t agree on how to divide their assets. Legal experts predicted that it may take years before the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” stars could unpick their financial affairs and come up with an agreement that they would both sign up to.

“When you are dealing with multiple properties or possessions, the whole scenario is magnified,” divorce lawyer Jenna Spratz said.

“Division of assets and money is never easy and the wealthier a couple is, the harder it can get.”

Pitt and Jolie’s shared properties include vintage motorbikes, jewelry, art collection and couture clothing. They also share the Château Miraval in Provence, France.

They bought the 1,000-acre wine estate for $60 million from American businessman Tom Bove. The property has already doubled in value and has become the center of their divorce proceedings.

An insider said that Pitt is anxious to sell it, but Jolie prefers to keep it as a continuing revenue source. Both don’t want to compromise, so the process can’t be realized.

“They can't agree on anything other than a few minor points and are completely at loggerheads over the major issues,” a source said.

Jolie has an estimated net worth of $278 million, while Pitt has amassed $417 million.

In April, Entertainment Tonight reported that Pitt and Jolie are officially single. They requested a bifurcated judgment to restore their single status as they finalize their divorce.

In related news, Jolie and Pitt’s daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt appears to look more like her dad than her mom. Back in March, Jolie stepped out with her four kids Knox, Zahara, Vivienne and Shiloh for the premiere of the live-action remake of “Dumbo.”

Shiloh donned a black hoodie for the event. Several fans noticed that she was the spitting image of her dad. Jolie said when Shiloh was just 4 that she was like a “little dude.” She always preferred tracksuits and wanted to dress like a boy because she thought that she’s one of her brothers.
