Although a judge has issued a court ruling giving actor Brad Pitt joint custody for the five of the minor children he shares with his estranged wife Angelina Jolie, those close to the actress believe the former couple’s legal battles are far from over.

While Pitt, who shares Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12, with his ex is said to be “delighted” about the judge’s decision, Jolie is reportedly working on her next move to appeal the arrangement.

“She will never forgive him,” a source told Us Weekly. Those close to the 45-year-old said she plans on using “everything she’s got” to fight the new court order.

“She maintains it’s far from over and still believes that justice will prevail,” the source said.

The “Those Who Wish Me Dead” star was left “bitterly disappointed” after Judge John Ouderkirk determined the former couple would share joint custody rather than favoring Jolie, who wanted primary physical custody over the minor children.

“Angelina’s testimony lacked credibility,” the insider revealed. “The decision was based on extensive testimonies from people who spent time with the kids and by highly respected professionals.”

Meanwhile, other sources told Page Six Jolie’s anger stretches beyond the custody ruling over the minors. Instead, she is furious that the judge would not allow her children to testify about alleged domestic abuse exhibited by Pitt.

“The heart of this dispute has not been about keeping the children apart from their father, it’s been Angelina asking for care for her family,” the insider told the outlet. “Her motivations have never been to deny the children a relationship with their father.”

Jolie’s legal team has already begun taking steps to void the judge’s ruling. “Judge Ouderkirk denied Ms. Jolie a fair trial, improperly excluding her evidence relevant to the children’s health, safety, and welfare, evidence critical to making her case,” reads court documents filed by the actress’ legal team.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016. Since then, the estranged spouses have been engaged in a bitter legal battle over their children and have yet to reach a settlement agreement that would officially end their marriage.
