Anne Hathaway revealed what makes her "really angry," noting that Roe v. Wade articles in the newspaper next to a piece that reads there is a " baby formula shortage."

"What makes me really angry is that I can look at a newspaper and on the front page, see that there are plans in place to overturn Roe v. Wade next to an article about how there’s a baby formula shortage, which has reduced the availability of baby formula by 43 percent," Hathaway told Interview Magazine in an article published Tuesday.

The 39-year-old actress shared that what makes her angry "is the people that are cheering for the overturning of Roe v. Wade, will not have a conversation about that point in the future when those two stories intersect."

Hathaway explained that the "people who have been working so hard to overturn Roe v. Wade have done so without making any effort at creating a more fair, just, and equitable society, and affordable, by the way, in which to have children."

She clarified in the end that she is not someone who would like to shame people but she feels "angry" about it.

Roe v. Wade was Supreme Court's landmark decision made on Jan. 22, 1973, that protected a pregnant woman's right to choose if she wants to have an abortion or not.

The decision is making headlines as it may get overturned. The U.S. Supreme Court said it would consider a Mississippi petition filed in 2020 that would tacitly challenge Roe v. Wade.

According to polling by Gallup, 58% of Americans said they oppose overturning Roe v. Wade while only 35% think the Supreme Court should overturn the 1973 ruling. 5% are undecided.

On the work front, Hathaway will be next seen in the romantic comedy movie, "She Came to Me," which is under post-production. She will also appear in movies like "Eileen," "Mothers' Instinct," "Sesame Street," "Bum's Rush," "The Lifeboat" and "The Idea of You."

On the personal front, the actress got married to actor Adam Shulman in 2012. The couple share two kids - Jonathan Rosebanks, 6 and Jack, 2.
