Just a day after unveiling its new MacBook devices this Thursday, Apple is going to get busy with the launch of the Apple Watch Nike+, the watchOS-running smartwatch that is intended mainly to be a running and workout companion. The Cupertino giant released a press release this Monday announcing that the fitness-focused wearable is slated for launch this Friday, Oct. 28.

According to MacRumors, Apple gave detailed information about the upcoming smartwatch in its press release. The Apple Watch Nike+ is said to debut in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom on Friday. In addition, 38 other countries can also expect the Apple Watch 2 variant to launch in their regions on the same day.

Per the press release, the 38 other countries are the following: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Columbia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau and Malaysia.

Also included in the list are Mexico, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey.

Seven more countries will also see the launch of the Apple Watch Nike+ a day later, on Oct. 29. These countries are Bahrain, Greece, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. On Oct. 30, the new wearable is expected to debut in Israel, where Apple is believed to be working on its upcoming iPhone 8 per previous rumors.

What makes the upcoming smartwatch different from the Apple Watch and the Apple Watch Series 2 is the custom bands that come with it. The band combinations that will be available for consumers to choose from are Black/Volt, Black/Cool Gray, Flat Silver/Volt and Flat Silver/White.

The device also has preloaded Nike+ Run Club app, as per AppleInsider. The Nike+ Run Club app is designed to motivate runners and provide proper guidance to Apple Watch Nike+ wearers from athletes and coaches.

The Apple Watch Nike+ is going to be available in 38mm and 42mm variants. The former is going to sell for $369, while the latter is expected to be valued at $399. All variants will be available for purchase from Apple.com, Nike.com, the Cupertino giant’s retail stores and select Nike stores.
