Wedding bells could be in the future for “I Bet” singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. They two have dated since April and are ready to take the next step in their relationship, BET wrote in an exclusive report Tuesday.

Though some people might have assumed they couple was secretly engaged already, they haven’t gotten there yet. “Ciara and Wilson are not engaged,” an insider told BET. “They will be getting engaged one day soon though, as they both openly talk about their future with each other.”

Ciara, 29, fueled rumors when she posted two joyous tweets Monday. “So Many Reasons To Smile.... Thankful. Goodnight Everyone,” she wrote in one message. “Many Great Plans! God Is So Good!!!” she said in another.

Ciara and Wilson, 27, famously took a vow to remain abstinent until marriage. "It's until the deal is sealed! Absolutely," she told Access Hollywood in July after Wilson did an interview about their “no sex” rule.

They made the chastity rule for religious reasons. "I said to her — and she completely agreed — 'Can we love each other without that,'" the quarterback said during an interview with Pastor Miles McPherson at San Diego's Rock Church, according to People magazine. "If you can love somebody without that, then you can really love somebody."

It doesn’t mean it’s easy for them, though. "I ain't lie — I need y'all to pray for us," he joked at the time. "Because I know you have seen her on the screen now. If there's a 10, she's a 15."

Seahawks fans might be happier to hear about a possible engagement between Wilson and Ciara than earlier in the football season. After the Seahawks got off to a rocky start, some fans claimed Ciara “cursed” the team. They now have a record of 8-5 and have won the past four games. It seems the curse, if there ever was one, has been lifted.
