The Arizona Cardinals handed the Seattle Seahawks their first loss of the season with Sunday night's 37-34 overtime win, looking like one of the conference’s most dangerous teams in the process.

With a 5-2 record and an improved position in the playoff picture after Week 7, the latest betting odds suggest the Cardinals are potential Super Bowl contenders.

Arizona is one of 11 teams given better than 25/1 odds to win Super Bowl LV in February. The Cardinals come in at 22/1, according to online sportsbook Bovada, tied with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Cardinals are just ahead of the San Francisco 49ers, who represented the NFC in last season’s Super Bowl. Arizona has better championship odds than the Chicago Bears, the No.1 seed in the conference before its matchup with Los Angeles on Monday night.

Kyler Murray outplayed MVP favorite Russell Wilson in Arizona’s Week 7 victory, throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Murray added 67 rushing yards and another score on the ground, giving him 20 total touchdowns this season.

Murray and the Cardinals have the league’s No.2 ranked offense, trailing only Wilson and the Seahawks. Arizona ranks 10th in points allowed per game.

Seattle, the NFC’s No.2 seed, is only a half-game ahead of Arizona for first place in the NFC West. The Cardinals have a perfect 2-0 record within the division.

The Cardinals have already matched their win total from last year. Arizona started the season with 50/1 Super Bowl odds, putting them behind 19 other teams at the time.

The Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still viewed as the NFC favorites. The Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints are also top threats to win the conference.

The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are favored to win the title, followed by fellow AFC frontrunner Baltimore Ravens. The unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers are rated fourth best overall.
