Avengers: Age of Ultron” was one of the darkest movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a heavy body count, dismemberment and a villain that’s holding a mirror up to humanity’s worst aspects. However, those who watched the film will note that it still had a substantial amount of levity, which we now know came directly from the cast.

After two movies together and several standalone films under the Marvel banner, this “Avengers” cast has spent a lot of time together since 2012. Their friendship and general camaraderie was highlighted in the recently released gag reel for “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The clip, which can be viewed below courtesy of Yahoo Movies, features principal stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Together they engaging in various flubs, pranks and downright silliness while filming some of the intense action and drama scenes that were featured in the movie. From Downey Jr. chastising Hemsworth for not reacting, to the reveal of Evans’ line that got cut off at the end of the movie, the trailer is packed with stuff to make viewers chuckle. While Yahoo has the exclusive brief clip, CBR trailers uncovered another with a slightly longer blooper tacked onto the end.

The extra scene in question takes place after [SPOILER ALERT] a very fatigued and injured Hawkeye (Renner), lays down next to the body of Quicksilver (Johnson). In the film, it’s a very dramatic scene as Hawkeye, who spent a majority of the movie hating Quicksilver, finally accepts him for the hero that he was after he sacrificed himself for the team. In the gag reel, the scene plays out slightly different. Instead of simply looking at his body and having a quiet moment of reflection, Hawkeye looks around and proceeds to smother Johnson’s character, who promptly plays along - You didn’t see that coming?
