Ayesha Curry, who is married to NBA star Stephen Curry, is facing a lot of criticism following a chat she recently had with actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, among others, on the Facebook platform "Red Table Talk."

In her interview, Curry spoke about how she feels insecure at times about the lack of attention she receives from men, which caused many to give their opinion. On Wednesday, she responded to the commentary on Instagram.

The 30-year-old cookbook author, who has three children with the NBA star, posted a picture on Instagram of her throwing away her Spanx. She captioned the photo, “I have never been one to cage my feelings and emotions to any capacity. I am human. It brings me pure joy to speak my mind, be vulnerable at times and to know myself inside and out."

She continued, "Seeing as how it’s mental health awareness month I really want to take the time to encourage everyone to speak their truth regardless of perception, fitting into a mold or offending someone, because it’s YOUR truth. And that’s okay!"

Prior to her comments about her feelings about male attention, Ayesha made headlines when discussing how she handles her husband receiving attention from other women due to his status as one of the top NBA players in the league.

She told Pinkett-Smith, "Stephen is very nice by nature and he’s very talkative. Everything is always very friendly and sometimes to the point where I’m like, I’m a grown woman so I’ll just insert myself. I’ll be like, ‘Hello. How are you doing?'"

She continued, "I’m OK with it now and obviously, you know the devil is a liar."
