The event dedicated to celebrating the most talented and successful names in hip-hop has finally arrived. On Saturday night, celebrities will gather at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami, Florida to attend the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Although the show is taking place on Oct. 6, fans will have to wait a little more than a week until they can watch all of the performances, cyphers and OMG moments on television.

Luckily there is more than one way to tune into the big event. While you can catch the ceremony when it is broadcast on television on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. EDT on BET, music lovers can also live stream the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards.

For those who prefer to tune into the award show online, you can live stream the ceremony at Bet.Com. Online viewers will only be allowed to stream the event on Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. EDT after they sign in using their cable provider logins.

Fans cans also download the BET Now app and watch the ceremony as it is being televised. During that same night, fans can watch the red carpet pre-show via the BET Twitter account, starting at 7 p.m. EDT. However, on the night of the actual ceremony, fans can join in on the live conversation on BET, Facebook and Twitter.

Comedian and actor Deray Davis will be on hand to provide the laughs to the audience and move the ceremony along as the host of this year’s award show. Also hitting the stage will be the likes of T.I., Yo Gotti, A$AP Rocky, YG, Lil Pump, Gucci Mane and many more to perform some of their hottest songs.

One of the biggest awards of the night will go to Lil Wayne, who recently released his highly anticipated album, “Tha Carter V.” The 36-year-old rapper will be honored with the I am hip-hop award.

After releasing his first platinum album, “Tha Block is Hot” in 1999, the rapper has continued to succeed in the music industry, earning five Grammy Awards and selling more than 100 million records.

Drake, who is one of the artists on Lil Wayne’s Yung Money record label, is the most nominated artist at this year’s ceremony. The “In My Feelings” rapper received 11 nods including album of the year, best hip-hop video and best collabo, just to name a few.

Meanwhile, Cardi B trails slightly behind him with 10 nominations. The new mom has been nominated for MVP of the year, lyricist of the year and hot ticket performer, among other categories.

Other artists that earned several nominations include Childish Gambino, who received six nods, as well as Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott, who are both up for five awards.

The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards will take place on Oct. 6 and air on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. EDT on BET.
